Looking to Maximize Fat Loss? Choose the TreadClimber Over the Treadmill

If you’re serious about losing weight, or just staying shape, then odds are you have probably used a treadmill at some point in your life. Whether at the gym or in the comfort of your own home, using a treadmill can be a great way to workout, especially in winter or inclement weather. The elliptical is another option a lot of people go with too, and for good reason – it provides a great workout with almost zero impact. For these reasons, both the elliptical trainer and the trainer have been extremely popular options over the last couple of decades for people looking for great cardio workouts. All of that is about to change though, with Bowflex’s latest release – the TreadClimber.

The TreadClimber provides the great cardio workout of the treadmill, but adds the calorie blasting muscle workout of the stairclimber. By combining the two, Bowflex has created a machine that allows you to get an amazing, nearly full body, workout in under 30 minutes, which is pretty amazing. If you haven’t seen it in action, the Flex Master TC spec sheet offers a ton of additional information, that is definitely worth checking out. If you don’t have the time for a ton of reading, we’ll include a video that gives a great over of the TreadClimber at the end of this article.

The Problem with Treadmills

Don’t get us wrong – the treadmill can still be a great way to get some cardio in, but when you know that there’s a machine like the TC available, you might want to reconsider you workout options. For starters, the treadmill is  a pretty high impact workout. The constant pounding of fee to tread can cause problems with your joints and ligaments over time, and can leave you sore and not wanting to workout the next day. The TreadClimber flips this on its head by providing a nearly ZERO impact workout, which is great for those of us who are getting older, or who are just interested saving the wear and tear on their bodies.

The other downside of the treadmill is that the calorie burn usually stops the moment you get off the machine. This is generally the case with strictly cardio workouts. Of course you’re burning calories while you’re running, but that stops when your legs stop moving. This isn’t the case with the TC. Because it incorporates all of the muscles in the body into the workout, your calorie burn is going to continue long after your step off the machine. That means you will even be burning calories in your sleep after using this machine.

In addition to that, a good treadmill workout may last 30 or even 60 minutes. This is a long time on one machine, and isn’t the most convenient of options for people with hectic schedules. You can get an amazing TreadClimber workout in just 15 minutes – yep, you heard that right! Who doesn’t have 15 minutes to devote to working out per day?

As you can see the TreadClimber should be your first choice when shopping for a new fitness machine. If it doesn’t seem like the best of fits for you, then you may also want to consider Bowflex’s Max Trainer as well. Much like the TreadClimber, it can also provide you with an amazing fat burning workout, in just a few minutes per day!

See it in action!
